Scoil Mhuire News

• A successful Open Night was held last Wednesday 26th October 2011

• Sponsored Walk – will take place on Friday 28th October to raise funds for extra-curricular activities. The walk route will be along the by-pass and back through the village to the School. Students will be dressed in fancy dress for the event.

• Bag Packing – A successful fund raising event was held by the Parents Association at Super Valu, Clane. Thanks is due to all those involved in the event.

• School Text – The database for the phone numbers of all the parents in the school is currently (2011/2012) being inputted in to the computer system.

• New Classrooms – Three new classrooms have being added to the school.

• Congratulations to all Junior Cert Students  – Scoil Mhuire in Clane is very pleased with the results achieved by students in the school in the Junior Certificate. What was impressive in the performance in the school this year was the number of students that took higher level papers.

• Leaving Certificate Results – The leaving certificate results were excellent  Students of all abilities achieved good results and a particular mention was made of the number of LCA students getting distincitions.
